The close-up image of the bride's engagement ring was taken during the getting ready at Oheka Castle. The engagement ring was place on the golden head of the book which bride brought with her. The image was taken with marco lens 105 mm in order to show all the beauty of the ring. Shallow depth of fields created by the macro lens increases the airy feeling and separates the engagement ring from the setting by presenting a pleasant blur. When I photograph the wedding rings I simplify the composition and take out all subjects that distract viewer's attention.
