The breathtaking Paterson Great Falls inspired a founding father, entrepreneurs, immigrants, poets and artists to build the nation’s first planned industrial city Paterson.
This place inspired Andrea and David to create their unique engagement story based on the cartoon Up. I alway admire non-traditional ideas for engagement portraits session.
Andea bought a mailbox and painted it together with David. They got lots of colorful balloons which brought lots of joy and diversity to their portraits.
It is challenging to take pictures at the Paterson Waterfalls because the park is on the top of the river just where the waterfall starts. So in order to show the waterfall in the pictures I had to climb the ladder. It was kind of scary to balance on the ladder on the bridge that crosses the Paterson waterfalls. But I managed to fight my fear of heights and get amazing portraits of the lovely couple. I am always ready to do something crazy for an outstanding photo.
The park is small and full of people, so I think the best time to go there for pictures is the sunrise. We had this engagement photoshoot at the sunset.
